Microsoft Backs Israeli Cybersecurity Firm Illusive Networks

Microsoft made an investment in an Israeli cybersecurity company, Illusive Networks, which focuses on development of software to fool attackers looking to breach enterprise systems. Size of the Microsoft Ventures investment was not announced. Illusive Networks is venture backed by New Enterprise Associates, Bessemer Venture Partners, Marker LLC, Citi Ventures, Cisco Investments, and Eric Schmidt's Innovation Endeavors. Illusive says it has raised $30M in combined Series A and B investments.
