Kymeta Launches Commercial Availability of Internet Service

Redmond-based Kymeta has launched commercial availability of its KALO internet access services, saying this week that users can now get up to 4Mbps mobile internet by-the-gigabyte. Kymeta, which is running the mobile Internet service in conjunction with satellite network operator Intelsat, is using its flat-panel, electronically steered satellite terminals to power the service. Pricing on the service was not announced.
