Zipwhip Updates Business Texting App

Seattle-based Zipwhip, which develops two-way, business texting apps, said this afternoon that it has launched ZipWhip 2.0, the next version of its flagship software. According to the company, its new version specifically is geared at optimizing services for enterprise-grade businesses with large-scale communication needs. ZipWhip's software lets companies communicate via text using their existing landline, VoIP or toll-free phone number. ZipWhip is venture backed by Openview, and raised $22.5M in a Series C funding last September.
