Intel Plans 100 Percent Water Recycling At Hillsboro Plant

Semiconductor giant Intel says it is hoping to recycle 100 percent of the water being used at its operations in Hillsboro, Oregon, with the construction of a new, water recycling plant under construction at its site in Hillsboro. According to Intel, the new recyling plant will help cut its manufacturing water use, and is part of a goal of reaching 100 percent of its water to communities and local watersheds by 2025. Intel said the new water recycling plant, when complete, will recycle about 1 billion gallons of water every year.
