Domicile Finds $5.0M In Seed Funding

Seattle-based Domicile, which offers up fully furnished, luxury apartments to business travelers on an Airbnb-like marketplace, has raised $5M in a seed funding. The funding was led by Crosscut Ventures, and also included Madrona Venture Group, plus such angel investors as Spencer Rascoff (Zillow), Jeff Wilke (Amazon), and others. The funding included $3.6M in new funding on top of existing $1.4M in convertible notes, the company has disclosed. Domicile's service for business travelers is much like Airbnb, except specifically geared towards business travel and amenities. More information »
