FLIR Systems Completes Endeavor Robotic Holdings Acquisition

Wilsonville, Oregon-based FLIR Systems announced today that it has completed its $382M acquisition of defense robot developer Endeavor Robotics Holdings. Endeavor Robotics Holdings was owned by private equity investor Arlington Capital Partners. Endeavor Robotic Holdings develops unmanned, robotic vehicles used for ordnance disposal, reconnaissance, inspection, and hazardous materials. FLIR said that Endeavor is one of the biggest providerso f unmanned ground vehicles to the United States (U.S.) Department of Defense (DoD).
