Symform Raises $2.0M For Cloud Storage Service

Seattle-based cloud storage provider Symform said today that it has raised $2.0M in a funding round, from WestRiver Capital. The funding is part of its Series A funding, bringing the total raised in that round to $7.5M. Symform, which is headed by Matthew J. Schiltz, provides an online, unlimited cloud storage service. The company said the new funding comes as it has had an 800 percent increase in its user base over the last six months, and a 60 percent quarter-over-quarter gain its its license revenue. Symform's storage service uses peer-to-peer software to distribute files between users. More information »
