T-Mobile To Offer Up Unlimited In-Flight WiFi On Gogo This Weekend

Bellevue, Washington-based wireless carrier T-Mobile said it will offer up an hour of free, in-flight Wi-Fi on all, Gogo-equipped domestic flights this weekend, in a bid to attract more customers to its service. According to T-Mobile, it will offer up a free hour to all travelers--including both its current customers, as well as customers of Verizon and AT&T--from Friday, June 24th, to Sunday, June 26th at 11pm. T-Mobile says it already offers up a free hour of in-flight wireless, plus texting and messaging during the full flight, to all of its customers--but said the offer is aimed at showing "long-abused AT&T and Verizon customers" what it means to be a T-Mobile customer.
