Bellevue, Washington-based Talyst has named a new vice president, the firm said today. The firm, which provides pharmacy automation tools, said that Carla Corkern has been appointed as Executive Vice President, Operations, for its Extended Care Group. Talyst was most recently COO at Vykor, and has also served at Netegrity and DataChannel. Talyst is developing automated systems used by hospitals and central pharmacies to manage their operations.
