    Talyst Promotes Corkern To CEO


    Pharmacy automation firm Talyst Inc. reported Wednesday that it has promoted Carla Corkern to chief executive officer. Corkern, who also sits on the Bellevue, Wash.-based company's board of directors, had been serving as interim CEO since May. Talyst said she joined the company two years ago as chief operating officer. Talyst described Corkern as an 18-year technology and supply chain management veteran. Prior to joining Talyst, she was chief operations officer at Vykor Inc. Before that, she was general manager of Netegrity's portal business.
