    Tamarac Secures Venture Financing


    Seattle-based Tamarac Inc., a publisher of portfolio-rebalancing and trade-order-generation software, announced Friday that it has received additional venture financing from its initial investors. The amount of capital and the names of the investors were not disclosed. Tamarac said it will use the money to further development and distribution of its Web-based financial applications. Tamarac develops proprietary, Internet-based applications for the financial advisory market. The software automates certain operational functions, such as portfolio monitoring, rebalancing, cash management and directed trading.
