Seattle-based thePlatform, a provider of white-label, video management software, disclosed today that it has been selected by Big Ten Network, a joint venture of Fox Cable Networks and the big Ten Conference. According to thePlatform, it iwll be used to centralize back-end management for a video initiative focused on international audiences, and another for domestic sports fans. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. thePlatform is a subsidiary of Comcast.
