Seattle-based video publishing software firm thePlatform said yesterday that it has been selected to be the back-end, video management system for several of NBC.Universal's programming networks. thePlatform said USA Network, SyFy, and Oxygen will use its video management system to distribute videos to PCs, tablets, and other IP-connected devices. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. thePlatform's white label software is used by video publishers to deliver video to customers.
