Treemo Gets Win With CBS iPhone App

Seattle-based Treemo Labs has scored a win with CBS, and is powering CBS's new EyeMobile iPhone application, recently released software for Apple's popular iPhone cell phone. Treemo developed the new CBS EyeMobile iPhone application, which allows viewers to upload, view, and comment on photos and video on CBS. The application launched Tuesday on the iTunes App Store. The CBS Mobile application allows users to capture and upload video to a special site, CBS EyeMobile, where those videos and photos can be viewed and rated by others. The new application is targeted at bolstering "citizen journalism" where viewers provide photos and videos to CBS. Financial impact or terms of the deal with Treemo were not announced.
