    TriQuint Completes Purchase of Peak Devices


    Hillsboro, Oregon-based TriQuint Semiconductor, a manufacturer of wireless communications products, announced Tuesday that it has concluded its purchase of Peak Devices Inc. Colorado-based Peak Devices is a fabless semiconductor company that specializes in discrete radio frequency transistor technology. The deal was first announced on August 21st. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. TriQuint said Peak Devices; market segments include two-way communications, telecommunications, avionics, radar, military and FM and television broadcast. TriQuint Semiconductor specializes in the production of gallium-arsenide-based devices and has manufacturing facilities in Oregon, Texas, Florida and Costa Rica.
