    Triquint Recognized By Customer


    RF module manufacturer TriQuint Semiconductor reported this week that it has received two awards from Northrop Grumman Corp.'s Electronic Systems division. TriQuint said it received the awards at the defense contractor's recent 2008 Supplier Conference. Specifically, TriQuint said it was recognized as a strategic supplier and for innovation in bulk acoustic wave technology. TriQuint noted that it was one of 32 companies honored at the event and the only one to capture two awards. Founded in 1985, TriQuint is headquartered in Hillsboro, Ore., and maintains manufacturing facilities there and in Texas, Florida and Costa Rica. The company also has design facilities in North America and Germany.
