Triquint Sees Better Revenues Than Expected, Spurred By Holiday Season

Hillsboro, Oregon-based RF semiconductor firm Triquint Semiconductor is reporting this morning that it saw better than expected revenues in its fourth quarter, and is expecting approximately $190M in revenues. The estimate is up from a previous guidance of $175M to $185M. The firm attributed the increase to better holiday season demand. The firm said it expects a normal, 10 percent to 15 percent decline in revenues in the first quarter of 2010.
