    TriQuint Semiconductor Appoints CFO


    Hillsboro, Oregon-based TriQuint Semiconductor has appointed a new CFO, saying this morning that Steven J. Buhaly has been appointed to the position, replacing currently CFO Stephanie Welty. Buhaly was most recently CFO at Longview Fibre, and has also served at Planar Systems and Tektronix. TriQuint said that Welty is leaving to take her career in a new direction, but did not disclose further details. Welty will assist in the transition. TriQuint is a manufacturer of RF modules and components for the communications industry.
