Seattle-based Trover, the developer of travel, photography, and other mobile applications, is released a new version of it smobile discovery app today. The venture-backed firm, which is funded by General Catalyst Partners, Ignition Partners and Benchmark Capital, said that its new app adds a new list feature called "Trover Lists", full screen browsing, and smarter searching. The "Trover Lists" feature allows users to curate lists of photos from destinations or around specific interests, and share those with others; list examples include movie filming locations, popular Seattle restaurants, and other topics selected by users. Trover is headed by Jason Karas.
