    Trumba Responsible for Newspapers' Online Calendars


    Trumba Corp., a developer of online event calendars, reported Monday that the Web editions of three publications managed by Ottaway Newspapers Inc. now feature operational online event calendars developed with Trumba Connect. Trumba said the Portsmouth Herald, the Times Herald-Record and The New Bedford Standard-Times are using Trumba Connect to increase their calendars' functionality and to promote awareness for local and regional events. Trumba added that it also assists Ottaway in automating the latter's online publishing. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Headquartered in Campbell Hall, N.Y., Ottaway Newspapers operates community publications on the East and West coasts. Trumba Corp. is based in Seattle.
