    Tyfone Hires CFO

Tyfone, a provider of mobile financial services infrastructure, reported Monday that it has hired Don Bloodworth as chief financial officer. The Portland, Ore.-based business described Bloodworth as a seasoned executive with decades of finance and operations experience. As such, Tyfone said, he will oversee its finances and operations on a global basis, including the company's offices in Taiwan and Bangalore, India. Prior to Tyfone, Bloodworth was an investor and consultant for emerging-stage companies. Before that, he served as CFO and chief operating officer at Medicalogic/Medscape and as CFO at GST Telecommunications. Tyfone said he began his career as a CPA at Deloitte and Touche before moving on to PacifiCorp.
