    Tyfone Signs Indian IT Provider


    Portland, Oregon-based Tyfone, a developer of mobile financial services hardware, has signed on Satyam Computer Services Ltd., an Indian IT consulting provider, Satyam said today. According to Satyam, it has entered into an alliance with Tyfone, to provide system integration and product customization for Tyfone's products. Financial details of the alliance were not disclosed. Tyfone is developing near-field-communication (NFC) contactless payment systems that are based on plugging into standard mobile phone Flash memory slots. The products are geared toward the mobile banking and payment market.
