University of Washington Taps Technology For Dynamically Priced Tickets

Looking for a Huskies ticket? Apparently, what you pay for a ticket will be based on ticket demand, team performance, the opposing team, and more, thanks to a deal between the University of Washington and a pricing software firm, Digonex. Digonex said that the Huskies will use its software to analyze ticket sales and buying patterns during the 2012-'13 men's basketball season, as well as during 2013 at Husky Stadium. The technology supplied by the firm prices tickets not just based on tiered-pricing, but also by adding in factors like scheduling, league position, team performance, who the opponent is, and other demand factors.
