Usermind Takes $14.5M For Business Operations Software

Seattle-based Usermind, which develops business orchestration software, said it has raised $14.5M in a Series B funding this morning. The funding was led by Menlo Ventures, and also included Andreessen Horowitz and CRV. The company says it has now raised $22.1M. Usermind was co-founded by Michel Feaster (CEO), and Przemek Pardyak (CTO). Menlo Ventures' Matt Murphy joins the company's board with the new funding. Ben Horowitz also sites on the board, along with the founders. The company said it is applying the principles of DevOps to business operations, which is it calling "BizOps". More information »
