ValueAppeal Raises $1.6M

Seattle-based ValueAppeal, which runs an online property tax appeal service, said today that it has raised $1.6M in a new funding round. The funding came from existing investors. The company said the new funding will go towards additional hiring, expansion of its technology, along with other strategic efforts. ValueAppeal is led by Charlie Walsh, and helps homeowners lower their property taxes by helping them to appeal their property values. The firm said the company has now raised a total of $3.1M, including two earlier angel funding rounds worth a total of $1.5M in 2010. More information »
