    Verdiem Hires CFO


    Seattle-based Verdiem said Thursday that it has appointed Steve Gordon as the firm's Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations. Gordon joins the firm from Visio, where he was also CFO. Gordon has also previously served at Data I/O, the Casey Family Foundation, Trumba, and Wavelink. Verdiem is a provider of power management software for managing PC energy consuption; the firm is backed by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, The Westly Group, Phoenix Partners, Falcon Partners, Catamount Ventures, Angeleno Group and angel investor Trevor Traina.
