Seattle-based energy management software developer Verdiem has scored a OEM win with networking giant Cisco, the firm said today. According to Verdiem, the firm will be powering a new Cisco product called Cisco EnergyWise Orchestrator, which will be used to manage energy on PCs and networked devices. Verdiem said that Cisco will market and sell Verdiem's new energy management system under the Cisco EnergyWise Orchestrator brand, to manage Cisco IP phones, wireless access points, edge switches, as well as PC and other devices. Financial details behind the win were not disclosed.
