Vote iQ Targets Political Social Networking

Seattle-based Vote iQ, a new startup tackling the political social networking, said late Friday that it has launched a preview of its platform to users. The firm said it would help match voters with candidates who reflect their views, provide profiles of politicians, analyze hot news topics, and otherwise look to help voters organize and attract attention to their causes. The firm said it was founded by Jim Tisch. The company said its services are now available via a beta site, covering elections in California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Washington.
