Wavii Acquired By Google, Says Report

Seattle-based startup Wavii, which develops natural language processing software being applied to news aggregation, has been acquired by Google, according to reports. The deal, according to TechCrunch, values Wavii at more than $30M. Neither Google nor Wavii have yet announced or confirmed the acquisition. Wavii was applying its technology in the area of news aggregation and discovery.
