![]() Tuesday, April 11, 2006 Webaroo Takes Web Browsing OfflineSeattle-based Webaroo has launched a new, software service that allows users to surf the web on their laptop and handheld without an Internet connection. Webaroo launched its new service yesterday, saying that it will allow consumers to instantly search web pages and view web sites without a connection. The firm's software caches web searches through a proprietary algorithm, providing subject-focused "web packs" for download onto a PC.
