    Webaroo Takes Web Browsing Offline

Seattle-based Webaroo has launched a new, software service that allows users to surf the web on their laptop and handheld without an Internet connection. Webaroo launched its new service yesterday, saying that it will allow consumers to instantly search web pages and view web sites without a connection. The firm's software caches web searches through a proprietary algorithm, providing subject-focused "web packs" for download onto a PC. The firm is headed by Rakesh Mathur, who was a co-founder of Junglee.
