WebTrends Scores Win In China

Portland, Oregon-based WebTrends, a provider of web analytics tools, said today that the firm's software has been selected by China's national TV network. According to WebTrends, the firm's web analytics and online marketing solutions will be used to study visitors during the 2008 Olympic Games. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. China Central TV (CCTV) will monitor visitors on the network's official web site, including tracking online video content and live Olympics webcasts and news. WebTrends partner System Consulting & Services (Ronghai) Co., Ltd. is supporting the install.
