Wetpaint Creates Web Community for NY Giants Fans

Wetpaint, a provider of a free, hosted Web page-publishing service, revealed Wednesday that it has developed a new online community for fans of the New York Giants professional football team. The Seattle-based service said the virtual locker room aims to archive the history of the defending Super Bowl champions. Wetpaint added that Giants fans may share their knowledge of team history, upload their photos and discuss the team with other fans. Wetpaint is a developer of wiki tools and related software; the firm is backed by Accel Partners, DAG Ventures, Frazier Technology Ventures and Trinity Ventures.
