Whitepages Launches New iOS App

Seattle-based Whitepages said Wednesday that it has launched a new app, which it says helps users avoid spam calls. The company said its new Whitepages ID for iOS app uses its own database of phone numbers, to help users identify and track phone scams and spam calls. The app also includes a blacklist feature to keep calls from showing up. Whitepages already has a similar app available for Android.
