Seattle-based Pelago, the operator of the Whrrl mobile social networking service, said this week that it has launched a new contest to help its users stick to New Year's resolutions. The firm said it is giving out more than $500 in prizes--ranging from a Wii to restaurant gift certificates--to users who share their resolutions online through the service. The firm said it has added a "2011 or Bust Society" page to highlight those resolutions.
