Seattle-based digital rights management (DRM) software provider Widevine said Tuesday that it is deploying its product with Australian telecom b>Telstar. According to Widevine, Telstra will start delivering braodcast television over the Internet using the firm's live adaptive streaming, virtual DVD, and digital rights management (DRM) platform. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Widevine said its technology will be available Tvs, Blu-ray players, and a set-top box from Telstra starting in 2011.
