    Widevine Gets $16M


    Seattle-based Widevine Technologies, a provider of downloadable content solutions, said today it has raised $16M from Cisco Systems and TELUS. Widevine said that the Series C round also included previous investors VantagePoint, Bear Stearns Constellation Ventures, Pacesetter Capital, and Phoenix Partners. Widevine's products are used for broadcast and video-on-demand applications.
