![]() Monday, January 29, 2007 Widevine Signs Brasil TelecomSeattle-based Widevine has signed on Brasil Telecom as a customer of its digital content protection technology, the firm said today. Brasil Telecom will use Widevine to protect the firm's IP video service and set-top boxes. Size of the deal was not disclosed. Widevine is venture funded by Cisco, Charter Ventures, Constellation Ventures, Dai Nippon Printing, PaceSetter Capital, Phoenix Capital Partners, TELUS, and VantagePoint. posted on Monday, January 29, 2007
