WISErg Adds $700K For Food Recycling Technology

Redmond-based food recycling equipment developer WISErg has raised another $700,000 in its Series B funding round, according to a regulatory filing by the firm Wednesday. The funding brings its total raised so far in that round to $6.4M. WISErg's products are used by grocery stores to recycle their old produce into liquid fertilizer for use by farmers and consumers. The startup is led by Larry LeSueur. The company's product is called the "Harvester", and includes wireless links and cameras to monitor the condition of the system. More information »
