    Wishpot Conjures Up $1M


    Seattle-based Wishpot, an online site focused on social shopping, said today that it has closed on $1M in a Series A investment round. The round was led by Monster Venture Partners, and also included H-Farm, an Italian Internet development firm, and angel investor Adrian Hanauer. Wishpot operates an online site focused on social shopping, and allows users to create their own personal wish lists across any web site. Rob Monster of Monster Venture Partners has joined the firm's board as part of the funding. The companys aid it will use the funding to further enhance its offerings, improve its platform, and increase business development activities. The firm had previously received a seed investment from Hanauer's Curious Office Partners.
