Yapta Raises $2.7M In Open Round
Seattle-based Yapta, which helps travelers track airfares and gain refund when prices drop, has raised $2.7M so far in what is an open round. A spokesperson for the firm confirmed the amount, which was disclosed in filings with both the state of Washington and the SEC earlier this month. The firm would not discuss who provided the funding in the round, which is still in progress. The company said the final figure could be entirely different, and that the funding amount is "only half the story." Yapta has previously raised funding in a Series A from Voyager Capital, Swiftsure Capital and Bay Partners.
