Online video sharing site YouTube announced Thursday a number of new series, part of a push by the company to help firms develop original series on the video site, including a plan for a live action series based on Microsoft's Halo franchise. YouTube said the new live action themed series, called Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, will be developed by Machinima and debut later this year. The new series is timed to launch in conjunction with Microsoft's launch of the Halo 4 video game.
