Zillow.com Debuts Local Advertising Platform
Seattle-based real estate listings Web site Zillow.com has unveiled a new self-service advertising platform, the company reported today. Zillow said the platform, called Showcase Ads, allows real estate agents, lenders and other local advertisers to purchase a percentage of the available ad views on searches for homes within a specific ZIP code. This feature, Zillow explained, grants advertisers the ability to better target the locations they are most interested in reaching. Zillow added that only a few minutes and a credit card is needed to create a Showcase Ad.
