Zillow Raises $30M

Real estate Web site Zillow.com announced Thursday that it has collected $30 million in Series C funding. Zillow said Legg Mason Capital Management, an international asset management firm, led the effort. All prior investors also participated in the third-round funding, Zillow noted, including Benchmark Capital, Technology Crossover Ventures and PAR Capital. Zillow said it will use the money to expand its staff of 155 employees and to introduce more products and features for its real estate customers, which include homeowners, buyers, sellers and advertisers.
