Zillow Sells ActiveRain To Ben Kinney

Seattle-based real estate information site Zillow announced Friday that it has sold off real estate networking site ActiveRain, to the Ben Kinney family of companies. Financial detail of the sale were not disclosed. ActiveRain was started by Jonathan Washburn and Bob Stewart back in 2006, and was acquired by Zillow when it purchased Trulia earlier this year. Ben Kinney said he is looking to "bring ActiveRain back to its roots" and help it grow and evolved.
