Seattle-based Zillow has filed a lawsuit against competitor Trulia, according to a lawsuit filed in Seattle, accusing Trulia of violating the patents behind its Zestimate home valuation algorithm. According to the lawsuit, Zillow is seeking a permanent injunction to stop Trulia from offering up its home price estimates, and royalties on prior use. Trulia is based in San Francisco.
