The ZINO Society said Thursday that it has awarded $50,000 to Hydrovolts, which is developing a "hydrokinetic turbine", which helps to generate power without requiring dams, weirs, penstocks, or poured concrete to operate. Hydrovolts was one of twelve companies which presented at ZINO's Green Investment Forum last month. The society said that Teslavision and SpringStar were the runnerse up for the prize.
