Seattle-based Zooppa is a new startup hoping that users will help its customer create viral video ads, by awarding budding video creators for their user-generated advertising submissions. The firm--which launched earlier this month--said that it has so far signed on local firm Jones Soda as a client. The firm also has competitions running on its site to create ads for Earth Class Mail and environmental news site Grist, both local Seattle companies. Zooppa said it is looking to help companies create online, user-generated social advertising, and will award users cash for the best videos.
