Seattle-based Zulily, the online private sale shopping site focused on children and busy moms, is officially launching its shopping site Wednesday, the firm said this evening. The site--which is backed by Maveron and headed by Blue Nile vets Darrell Caven and Blue Nile executive chairman and founder Mark Vadon--offers discounted prices on children's apparel, toys, gifts, and other products. Zulily said it will offer 72-hour, private sales, offering discounts of up to 70 percent off retail. The company said its first sale will feature products from eco-friendly apparel firm Origany.
