    Zumobi Hires Exec

Seattle-based Zumobi, developer of a mobile widget platform, revealed Monday that it has hired Ken Willner to fill the newly created role of vice president of market development. Willner, Zumobi explained, will lead business strategy and partnerships with brands and agencies in an effort to boost the company's profile within the advertising industry. Zumobi said Ken previously worked for AT&T Wireless, where he served as vice president of advertising and media. He also founded Fizzylab, where he worked as vice president of marketing. Zumobi noted that Willner has also held various senior management positions at McCann-Erickson and Rubin Postaer and Associates. Zumobi, formerly known as ZenZui, is venture backed by Hunt Ventures and Oak Investment Partners.
