Seattle-based Zumobi said today that the firm has entered into a partnership with Microsoft. According to Zumobi, its user interface and widget platform will be distributed with Microsoft Windows Mobile. Financial impact of the deal were not disclosed. Zumobi develops software which allows users to pull content from Web sites for display on their mobile phones. The firm is a spinoff of Microsoft's IP Ventures program; the firm was formerly known as ZenZui, and has received backing from Hunt Ventures and Oak Investment Partners.
